The Liberty Municipal Library welcomes children ages 2-5 to Story Time Wednesdays at 11 a.m. Let your “wiggles” out, listen to a story, and enjoy a related craft with children’s librarian, Gail Williamson and Magdalena Fuertes. Younger and older siblings alike are welcome to the library’s story time hour.

While you are at the library don’t forget to check out our wide variety of books, movies, and magazines. Don’t have a library card? New patron library cards are available free of charge to all Texas residents with a valid driver’s license or ID.

There is so much to explore at the library. Come play in our new playhouse, Jana’s Place, located in the children’s section of the library. Don’t forget to check out the sights as the library is getting ready for the upcoming summer reading program, “Adventure Begins at Your Library.”

The last day for story time, until after summer reading, will be Wednesday, May 29.

Story time is a free, weekly program hosted by Liberty Municipal Library. We are located at 1710 Sam Houston Street, inside the Geraldine Humphreys Cultural Center. Library hours are Monday through Thursday 10 to 6 p.m., Friday 1 to 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 to 4p. m. For more information, call us at 936-336-8901 or check us out on Facebook and Instagram.
