Alex Holzmeier and Kaleigh Lumpkins of Clay Mound Sporting Center presented fundraising opportunities to Liberty Rotarians Tues., Dec. 3, 2013 at the noon luncheon inside Liberty Center.
Clay Mound Sporting Center is a family owned business established at 2001 Texaco Road in Liberty two years ago, offering a pavilion that seats up to 150 people, beautiful scenery and outstanding customer service for fundraisers. They are ranked number three in the state for numbers of targets thrown.
The Liberty Rotary Club is planning a clay shoot Sat., April 12, 2014 with sign-ups beginning at 7 a.m. and the shooting event commencing at 9 a.m.
Holzmeier explained the fundraiser includes 100 targets, five pairs from each station. Participants are required to wear eye and ear protection. One can bring your own shotgun, or 12- and 20-gauge shotguns are available for rent.
Station sponsorships are available at $200 each and there will be many other opportunities for sponsorships.
Lumpkins, the Marketing and Event Coordinator, spoke about the best ways to promote a fundraiser at Clay Mound Sporting Center and offered her assistance to help the club.
