Travis Eugene Williamson, 76, of Batson, formerly of Beaumont, died Friday Jan. 6, 2012 in Hull.

A service of remembrance will be held Wed. Jan. 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Faith & Family Funeral Services of Batson.

Reverend Richard Motes of the Batson United Pentecostal Church and Reverend Lonnie Jordan of Daisetta United Pentecostal Church will be officiating.

Interment will follow at the Guedry cemetery of Batson.

Pallbearers are Harold Biano, Dakota Walker, Kelly Lovett, Timothy Lovett, Christopher Lovett, Vagie Lynn Lovett.

Honorary pallbearers are Mark Berman, Albert Brock, and Leo Watson.

The family will be receiving friends on Tue., Jan. 10, 2012 from 5-9 p.m. at Faith & Family.

Travis was born on Sept. 26, 1935 to Elbert Travis Williamson and Alm Hobbs Williamson.

Travis lived in Beaumont for most of his life before moving to Batson in 1991 where he and his wife lived.

He was an oilfield worker for Halliburton Services.

His parents, a son Stephen Williamson, sisters, Opal McCarrvel, Nancy Williams, and Vivian Zoch and brother Elbert Travis Williamson Jr preceded Travis Eugene Williamson in death.

Survivors are his wife Mary Byrd Williamson of Batson; sons Gregory Lynn Williamson of Beaumont, Vagie Lovett and wife Stacy of Stanley, Louisiana, Kelly Lovett of Stanley, Louisiana, Timothy Lovett and wife Heather of Keithville, La., and Chris Lovett and wife Jamie of Carmel, Louisiana; daughters Karan Berman and husband Mark of Beaumont, Cindy Biano and husband Harold of Hull, Helen Sandefer and husband Scott of Glendale, Arizona. Sister Marie Kindle of Batson; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Travis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
