After allowing two runs to Coldspring in the top of the first inning, the Hornets came back with three runs in the first and two in the second to move in front 5-2 after two innings of play. Hardin added three more in the fourth pad, their advantage to 8-2. Caldwell also added three RBI’s while Turner and Hudnall each had a pair of RBI’s. Caden Elmore added two hits and two RBI’s, while Rylee Board also finished with two hits. Hayden Sopchak pitched six innings and struck out five in getting the win on the mound. The Hornets will travel to Anderson-Shiro on Friday night.
