Garner named Defensive Player of the Year

The Dayton Broncos baseball team took one of the top honors as the 20-5A All-District Team was announced as Centerfielder Ashton Garner took home Defensive Player of the Year. The senior can go get them with the best of them in the outfield.
Connor Benge of Montgomery was named the District MVP, while Blaine Lucan of New Caney was named the Offensive Player of the Year. The Newcomer of the Year was Jace Newkirk of Lake Creek.
Making the second team for Dayton was pitcher Blayne Denton.
Landing on the Honorable Mention Team for the Broncos are Victor Zuniga, Dylan Ellis, and Austin Murphree.
