The Vindicator, the paper of record for Liberty County, Texas, is a 130-year-old weekly, that was founded as The Liberty Vindicator in 1887 by Thomas Jefferson Chambers and published its first edition on Dec. 9 of that year. It has been continuously published ever since.

The Vindicator is part of Granite Publishing Partners, LLC.

Its offices are opposite the courthouse square, at the corner of Trinity and Main in Liberty, Texas.
