Each Saturday in February, we are open from 10 am -2 pm for a special exhibit dedicated to showcasing the school’s history, once known as Annie E. Colbert School, which taught segregated African-American students in all grades from 1927 to 1967. Colbert is one of 5,000 U.S. schools forged by a historic early 20th- century pact between Booker T. Washington and Julius Rosenwald. Today, the structure is now known as the historic Colbert- Rosenwald Museum.
