The Liberty County Hospital District has formally launched a campaign in support of a referendum to build a new 51,000-square-foot Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center, as well as a separate freestanding clinic just north of downtown Dayton.
Matt graduated from Hardin High School in 2004 after graduation he attended the College of Healthcare Professionals where he received a Billing and Coding Certificate and continued on for an Associates Degree in Health Information Management. Matt has worked for Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center since 2017, where he began his career in ER Registration. He currently serves as the Manager for Liberty Dayton Medical Clinic. The future of Dayton’s healthcare community was the focus of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce’s September luncheon, as OmniPoint Healthcare hosted the event and CEO William Kiefer spoke to those in attendance about that group’s newly opened facility in the community. Dayton ISD notified parents of children in the district last week that they would be participating in a new statewide program that provides COVID19 rapid tests for students and staff that show symptoms while at school. As the virus has been on the rise access to timely testing methods has become more difficult to access, and take home tests do not qualify under rules from the Texas Education Agency, as testing must be completed at approved an testing facility.Read more
