For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.” (Psalm 100 NIV) I don’t know about you, but there are times that JOY doesn’t seem to be my first reaction when something happens that I was not prepared for. I am just being real today. I am flesh and I have to pray and fast daily in order to keep the flesh under subjection to the spirit. We live in a time where stress is at an all-time high due to the demands that we place on ourselves. And yes we do this to ourselves. We take on too much responsibility, commitments, over- time, jobs etc. We can only do so much before it starts to affect our mental health, family, children, spouse, jobs and spiritual walk with God.

Do you ever need a deep, soul REFRESHING? Do you ever just need some sweet RENEWAL in your life? A time of rest or a time to just pull away and forget all that is swirling around in your mind. We need time to forget the chaos of life, time to just rid yourself of all decisions, choices and problems, and time to simply say Jesus I need you. The bible tells us in (Matthew 11:25) Jesus says, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.” Jesus is the rest that we need every day in order to keep our mind renews and our spirit refreshed.
