COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR

The City of Liberty has Coffee with the Mayor the third Thursday of the month.

LIBERTY FREEDOM RIDE

The 6th Liberty Freedom Ride will be held this year on Saturday, Feb.13, 2021, with three routes to participate in this year — 18, 38, and 75 miles of beautiful Liberty County scenery to choose from. All rides begin at the Liberty Center 1829 Sam Houston, Liberty, TX. All routes have good shoulders and have rest stops every 8 to 12 miles. All routes end at the Start/finish line.

VETERAN MEET-UP

You are invited to join us for breakfast and camaraderie with fellow veterans. 1st Saturday of each Month 8:30-10:30am Cleveland Historical Museum. The museum is located at 203 E Booth St in Cleveland.

TARKINGTON COMMUNITY BASEBALL ASSOCIATION

Registration for baseball and softball is officially open.

There is an option to purchase registration insurance protection in case your player is unable to play for a number of reasons. TCBA does not benefit financially or otherwise if you purchase it, but we highly recommend it.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

The Family Church in Hardin is hosting Celebrate Recovery, a weekly class every Tuesday Night at 7pm. If you know someone who needs this class, please share this information with them. This is a Bible based recovery program for alcohol, drugs, codependency, anger management, etc. The Family Church is located at 656 CR 2010 in Hardin, Texas.

LIBERTYYOUTH BASEBALL & SOFTBALL

Online Registration for Liberty Youth Baseball & Softball is currently underway and the deadline to register is Thursday, February 11. Tryouts will be conducted on Saturday, February 13 at a TBA. To register visit the website at www.libertyball.com.

• Baseball - players that are ages 4-14 years old by May 1st, 2021- $75 per player.

• Softball - players that are ages 4-15 years old by January 1st, 2021 -$75 per player.

• Challengers- Players that have a disability learning/mentally/physically that hinders them from playing a full season - this gives all children the opportunity to participate and learn a game they love! Ages 4-16 years of age.

12TH ANNUAL RICK HUMBER MEMORIAL STEAK COOK-OFF

Get your pits out because it is time to start your coals. Our annual cook-off is seasoned and ready to grill on February 20, 2021 at the Liberty Elks Lodge. Early registration is $50 and ends on February 15, 2021. Day of registration is $60 and starts at 9 am. We will have cash and prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Steak, JackPot on drinks. We will sell tickets for a 50/50 pot and Live Auction to follow up.
