LINNEY-ACIE CEMETERY ANNUAL MEETING

The Linney-Acie Cemetery Association will hold their annual meeting Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. This year’s meeting will be held at Parker Hall at 201 S. BLOOD DRIVE

First United Methodist Church Liberty, along with Life Share Blood Centers, will be hosting a blood drive, Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the Fellowship Hall, 539 Main Street, Liberty. Anyone who has not donated whole blood in the last 56 days, or double red cells in the last 112 days, is eligible. By donating blood you are truly giving the gift of life. CHS ALL-CLASS REUNION CRAWFISH BOIL

Mark your calendars! The CISD Education Foundation is hosting a CHS All-Class Reunion Crawfish Boil on Saturday, March 26th, from 11 am to 4 pm at Stancil Park. This event is open to ALL Cleveland High School Alumni and open to the public! Get your classmates together and join us for a good time! More details coming soon.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FISH FRY

The Liberty Knights of Columbus will have their annual fish fry, with all the trimmings, on Fridays during lent at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 411 Milam St in Liberty, Texas. This will be TAKE-OUT/DRIVE THROUGH ONLY, and it will be held on March 4, 11, 18,25, and April 1 and 8 from 5 to 7 pm. Enter off Milam St and exit onto Austin St. The cost is $15 per plate.

DAYTON COMMUNITY WIDE CLEAN-UP

The Dayton Enhancement Committee will be hosting a Community Wide Clean-up event on Saturday, April 9 from 10 am – 12 pm. The community is invited to come out and take part in this Spring-cleaning event around the city. Participants will meet at the Crossroads Park on HWY 90.

EASTER PORK LOIN SALE

Liberty Masonic Lodge announces their annual PORK LOIN sale for Easter. This fundraiser supports student scholarships for graduating seniors in Liberty ISD and Hardin ISD and charitable community projects. These pork loins are $30.00 each and perfectly seasoned and slow-smoked to perfection. Each one is 5 pounds before cooking and will be available for pick up on Saturday, April 16th, and ready for you to enjoy for Easter Sunday. Pick up will be at the Masonic Lodge located at 500 Fannin at Trinity from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2021…PRE-ORDER NOW. The deadline to order is Wednesday, April 6, 2022. DAYTON SENIOR CENTER

The Dayton Senior Center is NOW open Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Lunch is on Wednesday & Fridays with a $3 fee (Must sign-up and pay prior)

HARDIN SENIOR CITIZENS

The Hardin Senior Citizens meet at the Hardin Community Center each week Tuesday-Friday the center opens at 8:30 am for anyone wanting a little breakfast at no charge or just to swing in to visit. For more information or to reserve your lunch, call 936-298-3107. The Hardin Community Center is located at 414 CR 2010 in Hardin.

DAYTON OLD SCHOOL MUSEUM

The Dayton Old School Museum is open to the public from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturdays. The museum is located at 111 W. Houston St. in Dayton.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

The Family Church in Hardin hosts Celebrate Recovery, a weekly class every Tuesday at 7 pm. If you know someone who needs this class, please share this information with them. This is a Bible-based recovery program for alcohol, drugs, codependency, anger management, etc. The Family Church is located at 656 CR 2010 in Hardin, Texas.

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS

Trust the process. Narcotics Anonymous meets every Monday and Wednesday at 7 pm at 424 Main Street in Liberty, next to Jax Hamburgers. For more information, call 254-716-9965.

COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR

The City of Liberty has Coffee with the Mayor on the third Thursday of the month.

CLEVELAND FOOD TRUCK FUSION We are expanding our hours and inviting craft/ boutique vendors to join us for our May 6 kickoff event! The new hours are Every Thursday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Call 281-592-2395 and talk with Marina or Ashleigh at the Civic Center to get added to our vendor list!

Boutique/Craft vendors are not required to pay a vendor fee and just fill out the vendor form with the Civic Center. (210 Peach Ave.)
