VBS – LIBERTY WORSHIP CENTER

VBS will be held nightly beginning Monday, June 21st - Friday, June 25th from 6pm - 8:30pm. All children ages 4 yrs. - 11 yrs. are welcomed to attend. Parents please plan to stay a few minutes the first night to complete a short registration form. The Liberty Worship Center is located at 501 Austin Street, Liberty, TX 77575.

TBC HOSTS VBS

Trinity Baptist Church of Dayton is having their Vacation Bible School, June 21 – 25 from 9am until noon. Boys and Girls ages 3-12 are invited to the “Mystery Island,” this year’s theme. There will be crafts, games and Bible stories. Trinity Baptist Church is located one block from the corner of HWY 321 and FM 1960. If you live in Dayton and would like a ride to VBS, or for further information you may call 936-334-4073.

WONDER WORLD FUN FEST

Calvary Baptist Church of Dayton will be hosting a week of fun with our Wonder World Fun Fest Vacation Bible School! We return in-person this year the week of June 21-June 25. Each night from 6-8 PM we will have games, snacks, and a look at God’s Word. All children who have completed Kindergarten-5th Grade are invited to this free event. OLIVE BETHEL HOMECOMING

Come out and join in on the 74th Homecoming celebration at Olive Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday, June 27at 11am. Pastor Gregg Bellard will bring the message. A picnic-style dinner will be served following the service. Please dress accordingly. Masks are required while indoors. The church is located at 5830 FM 1011, Hardin, TX 77561.

PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION

Noah’s Ark Mother’s Day Out and Preschool at First United Methodist Church of Liberty, 539 Main St. is accepting registration applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Noah’s Ark classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Currently there are spaces available for children ages 1 year old to 4 years old. CELEBRATE RECOVERY

The Family Church in Hardin is hosting Celebrate Recovery, a weekly class every Tuesday Night at 7 pm. If you know someone who needs this class, please share this information with them. This is a Bible-based recovery program for alcohol, drugs, codependency, anger management, etc. The Family Church is located at 656 CR 2010 in Hardin, Texas.

NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS

Trust the process. Narcotics Anonymous meets every Monday and Wednesday at 7 pm at 424 Main Street in Liberty, next to Jax Hamburgers. For more information, call 254-716-9965.

The City of Liberty has Coffee with the Mayor on the third Thursday of the month.

We are expanding our hours and inviting craft/ boutique vendors to join us for our May 6 kickoff event! The new hours are Every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Call 281-592-2395 and talk with Marina or Ashleigh at the Civic Center to get added onto our vendor list!

Mobile Food Vendors are required to submit paperwork for a mobile food vendor permit. (The fee is $100) - https://www.clevelandtexas.com/.../Mobile-Food-Vendor...

Boutique/Craft vendors are not required to pay a vendor fee and just need to fill out the vendor form with the Civic Center. (210 Peach Ave.)

As the legislative branch of the City of Ames government, the City Council holds open public meetings where local laws, policies, and basic decisions for the city are discussed and decided. City Council members are elected at large.

All members are elected at-large. The regular called meetings of the Liberty City Council are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Special called meetings are typically held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, however, meetings may be called at any time to conduct necessary business.

PLUM GROVE CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Second Monday of each month

Meetings start at 7:00 pm at City Hall.
