WELLNESS EXPO

MSGR’s Wellness Expo encourages different health and wellness businesses/organizations to come in and explain to families who they are and their goal of assisting them in any way possible. This event will be held June 15 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Santa Fe Community Center in Plum Grove, 1680 County Road 3549, Cleveland, Texas 77327. There will be clinics, a food bank, and so much more. This event is entirely free to the public and the businesses and organizations they partner with.

LISD FOOD SERVICE

Liberty ISD will host a Free Food service from Monday, June 12, through Thursday, July 20. No meals will be served Tuesday, July 4. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 am and Lunch from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Ages 1-18 can attend. Meals will be provided Monday through Thursday at 2615 Jefferson Dr, Liberty, Tx.

TAYLOR’S ORGANIZATION EVENT

The Taylor’s Organization and Pineywoods Roosters Entertainment & Promotions will host a Bike and Car Show on Saturday, June 17, from 11 am to 5 pm. This event will have live & silent auctions, live music, food, and a kid’s zone. The live music lineup will include Jesse Loving, Tyler Trantham & Reno Conner, Tyler McCullum, and Dawson Drake. Motorcycle Entry / Car and Truck Entry are $25 and all years, makes and models are welcome. Gates will open up at 8 am for Vendors and Vehicle Entries. REVIVAL HARDIN METHODIST

CHURCH

Hardin Methodist Church is hosting a revival June 18 – 20 with Tom C. Fuller of International Adventure Ministries. There will be two services on Sunday, June 18, at 10:55 am and 7 pm, and a 7 pm service on Monday and Tuesday night. HMC is located at 1005 FM 834, Liberty.

HARDIN BAPTIST CHURCH VBS Hardin Baptist Church will host Vacation Bible School on Monday, June 19, through Friday, June 23, from 9 am to Noon. This is for children who completed Pre-k through 5th grade. The theme will be “Twist & Turns.” This event will be held at 138 County Road 2003 South. FRESH PRESH LEMONADE RIBBON CUTTING Dayton Chamber of Commerce is having a ribbon cutting for Fresh Press Lemonade Tx on Thursday, June 22, at 3 pm. This event will be held at Dayton Community Center.

TASTE OF DAYTON

The Taste of Dayton business expo with a yummy twist is set for Thursday, June 22, from 4 to 7 pm. There will be food, raffle prizes to win, and tons of fun. Plus, Community Resource Credit Union is bringing a photo booth to capture all the fun, so be sure to gather your friends and family and strike a pose! Admission is only $5 for adults and $2 for children aged 12 and under, so bring the whole gang for all the fun and excitement!

VALLEY PLAYERS

The Valley Players is presenting a show called “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” This event will take place on June 23 through June 24 at 7p and June 25 at 2p as well as June 30 through July 1 at 7p and July 2 at 2p. OLIVE BETHEL 76 HOMECOMING Olive Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting its 76 Annual Homecoming Celebration. This event will be held on Sunday, June 25, at 11 am. The theme is “Out with Old, In with the New.” Dr. Amos Horton Sr. of Reed Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will deliver the message. Dinner will be served following the service. DAYTON FIRST BAPTIST VBS First Baptist Church will host their Vacation Bible School from Sunday through Thursday, June 25-29, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. SUMMER READING PROGRAM Jones Public Library is hosting a Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is All Together Now and we’ll be focusing on the community. Registration opens up on June 26 and continues through July 7. Join them at the library on July 3rd from 2 pm to 4 pm for an Opening Day Block Party. Activities will be held daily throughout the month of July, and a calendar of events can be viewed at the library. FAMILY FEAST DAY

Sacred Heart Catholic Church is having its Family Feast Day and Fundraiser on June 25 from 10 am to 4 pm. Beef Tip Dinners will be served from 10 am to 2 pm, but feel free to stay until 4 pm. Plates are $13 each, Pre-Sale only, and deadline to purchase is June 18. There will be games, raffles, and a silent auction as well. This event will be at 3730 FM 160 North, Raywood, Tx. LIBERTY COUNTY GOP MEETING The Liberty County Republic Party will host their Quarterly meeting on Tuesday, July 13. They will host Charlie Zhang of The Epoch Times Houston Office. Charlie will introduce attendees to the Epoch Times Media Publication, answer any questions about the publication, and offer subscriptions. OLD FASHION GOSPEL

Hardin Methodist Church is hosting an Old Fashion Gospel Singing. This event will take place on Saturday, July 29, from 4 to 6 pm at 1005 FM 834 W, Liberty, Texas 7757. All area churches are invited to participate.

BACK TO SCHOOL SPECTACULAR The City of Cleveland will host their annual Back to School Spectacular on August 4 from 5 to 7 pm. This event will allow students from Kindergarten to fifth grade to get lots of free school supplies to stock up before the start of the school year. To receive these supplies, the child must be present. The event will be held at the Cleveland Civic Center.

CONVERSATIONS & BREAKFAST Pastor Ken Davis from Calvary Baptist Church in Dayton invites everyone to talk to him or pray with him on Friday mornings from 8:30 am to 12 pm at MacDonald’s. You bring the conversation, and he buys the breakfast. You are also more than welcome to send him a Facebook message to leave a prayer request for him.

FIRST SUNDAY JAM

The first Sunday of each month, Cleveland VFW is sponsoring “The First Sunday” jam hosted by the Loose Change Band from 1–5 pm. Bring your axe and your talent. Musicians wanted. There will be food available.

SENIOR LUNCHEON

Every Tuesday-Friday at the Dayton Community Center, a free senior luncheon will be held at the Dayton Community Center 11 am – 12 pm. All are sponsored by Trinity River Food Bank and donations from Grace Initiative, Dayton’s Meals On Wheels. Call 936258-6630 to sign up for a meal.

YARN CLUB

Every Tuesday, 11:30 am –1 pm, Yarn Club meets at the Dayton Community Center. There will be crocheting, quilting, knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, and just about anything you can think of with yarn! Call a Yarn Club member with questions at 281-385-5398.

INSIDE WALKING

Monday-Thursday, 8 am-4 pm, walk the inside air-conditioned hallway square/track (463 ft/0.088 miles) at the Dayton Community Center, 801 S Cleveland St.

SIT & BE FIT

There will be an indoor Senior Workout Class every Monday and Thursday, 12:30–1:15 pm, at the Dayton Community, 801 S Cleveland St. For more information, call 936-258-6630.

SENIOR BREAKFAST

On the third Tuesday of every month, a Senior Breakfast will be held at the Dayton Community Center at 9 am. Donations are welcomed. Thrif-tee Food Center will sponsor the breakfast.

SENIOR BINGO

Every Wednesday and Friday at 12 pm, there will be Senior Bingo held at the Dayton Community Center. It is free for all seniors. For more information, call 936-258-6630 or email communitycenter@daytontx.org.

SENIOR POTLUCK

The Dayton Community Center will host a Senior Potluck in the Senior Center on the third Thursday of every month. Bring a covered dish. For more information, contact 936-258-6630.

DOMINOS

The City of Dayton will host Dominos 42 on Tuesdays from 8 am -12 pm at the Dayton Senior Center. If you are not into “42”, then bring some friends. There will be plenty of cards and dominos at the Senior Center. You can start a new group!

ALCOHOL CHEMICAL TREATMENT SERIES A.C.T.S. is now being offered in Liberty by a trained, program-certified instructor. These classes will satisfy court orders and/or personal growth desires. ENCOUNTER THE BLESSINGS!

HARDIN SENIOR CITIZENS

The Hardin Senior Citizens meet at the Hardin Community Center each week, Tuesday- Friday the center opens at 8:30 am for anyone wanting a little breakfast at no charge or just to swing in to visit. For more information or to reserve your lunch, call 936-2983107. The Hardin Community Center is located at 414 CR 2010 in Hardin.

DAYTON OLD SCHOOL MUSEUM The Dayton Old School Museum is open to the public from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturdays. The museum is located at 111 W. Houston St. in Dayton.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

The Family Church in Hardin hosts Celebrate Recovery, a weekly class every Tuesday at 7 pm. If you know someone who needs this class, please share this information with them. This is a Bible-based recovery program for alcohol, drugs, codependency, anger management, etc. The Family Church is at 9456 HWY 146 N in Hardin, Texas.

COFFEE WITH THE MAYOR

The City of Liberty has Coffee with the Mayor on the third Thursday of the month at 7:30 am in council chambers.

DAYTON FOOD TRUCK FRIDAYS 11 am - 2 pm every Friday at 111 N Church St. in Dayton.
