2025 ESA Spirit of Christmas Yard Decoration Contest Open

ANAHUAC– The ESA Sorority Spirit of Christmas Yard Decoration contest is back for 2025. All residents and commercial businesses within the city limits are encouraged to adorn their yards, homes and storefronts with holiday lights, blow-up decorations and Christmas paraphernalia.
Five to seven winners will be chosen to receive a commemorative tree sign or a Hall of Fame Star. Past winners are encouraged to display their trees and stars.
Judging will take place the week of Dec. 8. Judges don’t come out until after dark, so please remember to plug in your lights. If we can’t see them, we can’t judge them.
Winners will be announced in The Progress and on ESA’s Facebook page.
