Anciaux finishes 5th at State Tennis Tournament

SAN ANTONIO– Last week, the UIL Tennis State Tournament was in full swing, and for one Anahuac High School student, it capped off a memorable year.
Raffi Anciaux, a foreign exchange student from France, had an impressive trip to San Antonio last Thursday and Friday at the State Tennis Tournament, placing fifth out of 16 players in Class 3A.
Anciaux finished in second place at the Regionals in Bryan, which qualified him for his trip to state, where he again represented Panther country well.
The tennis team is coached by Kristin Hart and assisted by Eduardo Lugo.
