DAYTON — The Dayton Chamber of Commerce met this week for its annual State of the Chamber address, where CEO Sean Stockard laid out the current climate for the organization.

In his remarks, he pointed to several underway key projects, including the upcoming “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” 80s Ladies Night event, which is set to recognize women entrepreneurs and business owners in the area.

Stockard said that event is one of several central events that will take place during the year and will join other premium outings, like the always popular Taste of Dayton in June.

The ladies’ night event will be held Friday, April 26, from 7 to 11 p.m. at the community center.

The chamber also holds luncheons on alternating months in Dayton and Liberty, with the April 9 luncheon set for Liberty.
