The Trivium Club of Liberty met on March 7, at the home of Sandy Pickett. As members arrived for the meeting, they enjoyed the night’s refreshments provided by hostesses for the evening, Sandy Pickett and Gloria Stratton. Second Vice President Debbie Dugger presided due to the absence of President Alana Inman.

The evening’s program focused on healthy living, with a presentation by local businesswoman, Betty Runkle. Mrs. Runkle and her husband are owners of The Health Fix, a local health and nutritional supplement store. She is a Certified Natural Health Consultant and holds a Doctorate in Traditional Naturopathy.

She recommends nutrition and various combinations of herbs and natural products to help address age- related inflammation and diseases. Mrs. Runkle explained how her focus on the mind/ body connection gives her clients information about natural and nutritional health practices that will help them make informed decisions about their own health. She is also the co- author of Healing Can Be Easy, available on Amazon. com.
