Big Summer for Liberty High School Cheerleaders

The LHS Cheerleaders have been working hard since school has been out. They attended NCA Cheer Camp at Sam Houston State University in June and ruled the mats.

This team came away with four Spirit sticks, three Superior ribbons, Technical Excellence Award, NFHS Credentials, Stunt SAFE Award, NCA Top Chant Award, NCA Spirit Award, Bid to NCA Nationals, 28 All American Nominees with 11 NCA All Americans.

The mascots also came away with numerous awards. Spirit the Mascot - NCA Most Creative & an All American Nomination and Tirips the Mascot - NCA Mascot Leadership Award as well as NCA All American.

Team: Abby Colburn, Kirsten Erskins, Kaitlyn Ross, Hallie Etheridge, Summer Balch, Brianna Bowles, Alexandra Becerra, Charli Jones, Hannah Roberts, Zoe Frazier, Brook Brawner, Addysn Cordova, Alyssa Smith, Keegan Lopez, Emily Hebert, Paige Shellhammer, Bailey Bendele, Ximena Cortina, Alexa Willis, Maddie Ziriax, Krystena Pritchett, Madison Rojas, Victoria Brawner, Ja’enelle LaFleur, Zaylee Taylor, Michayla Page, Braelyn Baucom, Ava Peterson-Campbell.

Some of these ladies are still working hard and went on to represent Liberty High School at Cheer Hawaii USA in Honolulu, Hawaii.

These young ladies were nominated and selected from approximately 800 cheerleaders around the United States.

This prestigious camp selects 200-250 cheerleaders to attend Cheer Hawaii USA at the University of Hawaii to further their leadership, cheer, stunting and tumbling skills.

Liberty has three members of this group who will continue their cheerleading talents on a collegiate level.

Kaitlyn Ross - 2024 Senior, Lexi Smart - 2023 Graduate, Cherish Robinson - 2023 Graduate and will cheer at University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, Rachel LaCour - 2023 Graduate and will cheer at Lubbock Christian College, Addyson Riche’ - 2023 Graduate and will cheer at Tarleton State University, Abbigale Colburn - 2024 Senior.
