Dayton ISD MCJROTC competed in the Region V Drill Competition at Legends Event Center in College Station.

The top two teams from each division advance to the national drill competition in Fredericksburg, Virginia in April.

There are 68 schools within Region V that our cadets competed against.

CWO-3 Ron Tash, Senior Marine Instructor stated, “DHS Cadets performed really well and placed 5th in both the Armed and Unarmed Divisions. Our cadets had a successful drill season, bringing home multiple awards. We are looking forward to the remainder of the year as we have two raider challenges scheduled and one orienteering competition event.”

Dayton ISD is super proud of our cadets and this award-winning MCJROTC program.
