Cleveland dedicates field in memory of Albert “Chop” Gonzalez

On Sunday July 17, 2022 Field 2 at the Cleveland Municipal Sports Park was renamed to Albert "Chop" Gonzalez field.
Albert "Chop" Gonzalez was born on July 17, 1990 and Sunday would have been his 32nd birthday. Albert was dedicated to his Cleveland community and spent countless hours coaching the little league athletes.
Mayor Boyett presented the family with a proclamation in honor of Albert proclaiming July 17, 2022 as Albert "Chop" Gonzalez Day.
