Great Success: City Park Party 2023

Rev. Delmar Lee Coward, Jr. had a dream from God and, together with his wife, Pastor Charlotte, introduced it to Liberty County and surrounding counties. The City Park Party became a reality in 1998.

They are also Founders of Encounter and The Vision Ministry located at 1610 FM 2830 in Liberty, where miracles, signs, and wonders follow because God is with them.

This year, there were 2,500 to 3,000 people in attendance. They witnessed ministries of the Word of God in song and dance, musical instruments and flags, and children. They portrayed the peace and love of God and had a lot of fun doing it.

The mission of the City Park Party was accomplished, which was to show the love of God to the community at no cost to them. A celebration of life lifting up Jesus and drawing all men unto Him.

After delivering a powerful message of faith, hope, love, and bringing Kingdom living to all the people in all the world, Delmar led all the people in a prayer to receive and rededicate their lives to Christ. He also prayed for those who needed miracles, and they, too, received the touch of God.

Yes! Jesus was in the house! Many were born again, many were healed and many celebrated life again – replenished and restored according to the Word of God.

Happy kids and adults won bicycles in the drawings – rolling away their prizes with great big smiles. A few people won $ 100 cash and walked away shouting, “I won! I won!” One youngster reports, “City Park Party was fun! And it was all about God.”

The children enjoyed a bouncy house and train rides – All Free. Three hundred backpacks with school supplies and 300 bags of groceries were given – All Free. Everyone came hungry and left happy – All Free.

We offer a great big “Thank You” to all who donated and gave their time and strength to make this a wonderful success. You are appreciated and have a part in affecting change in the lives of our community and also the Kingdom of Heaven.
