The Liberty Fire Department came to visit with our Story Time children and parents at the Liberty Municipal Library on Wednesday, Nov. 15. There was a wonderful turnout, and we thank everyone who was able to come out and participate.

The Liberty Fire Department is a benefit to the city, and it was great to see them come and visit with our story timers and their families. The event kicked off with Thierry Langford Hammer reading an event-related story prior to the arrival of the Fire Department. The kids were able to get an inside peek at a fire truck, see an ambulance and loved every minute the emergency vehicles were here. The library staff would also like to thank the fire department for coming and sharing their knowledge and emergency vehicles with our patrons.

The fire department will be back at the library on Thursday, June 20 at 2:30 p.m. for our summer reading program, Adventure Begins at Your Library, 2024. Keep an eye out for upcoming events on the library’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/LibertyMunicipalLibrary/.
