Norton, Peveto Descend on Woodville to Talk Books with Other Authors

Karen Howell Norton and Marilyn Whitehead Peveto will be in Woodville this Saturday, Dec. 4, from 10 am to 1 pm to discuss their books, sell them and sign them at the Allan Shivers Library and Museum on 302 North Charlton. They have authored several books, including Mom, God's Got This by Karen, and The Pine Curtain Chronicles by Marilyn.

Karen grew up in Colmesneil, and Marilyn grew up in Buna after moving there from Orange when she was two.

On Friday, Dec. 3, Marilyn will also be in Woodville at the Emporium on the Square from noon to 3 pm. Other area authors will offer their books for sale or be represented there between noon to 8 pm. Those who will be present are Jamie Carter Bollich with Arvetta (probably from 4 or 5 to 8 p.m.), Minette Bryant with MeMaw and Seeking Samuel (probably from 5 or 6 to 8 pm), Charlotte Corbell Ingle with Under the Pines of Deep East Texas (beginning at noon), and the Tyler County Booster's own Chris Edwards (from 2-5 pm) with “The Best New True Crime Stories: Crimes of Passion, Obsession and Revenge,”

and “Nobody Comes to Visit Anymore,” a collection of short fiction (coming out in January). Authors who will not be present but whose books will be represented are Frank Mills (aka Rebecca Stark Nugent) with If The Devil Had a Wife and Penny Clark with The Beaumont Civil Air Patrol in World War II.

N.B. Marilyn Whitehead Peveto also has a book signing in Buna on Saturday at 2 pm in an antique mall.
