Liberty County prayer march

Organizers for the Liberty County Prayer March are working hard to get the word out around the area, as the second annual event will be held this Saturday in the downtown Liberty area. Members of the public from all over the county are encouraged to come out and join their fellow community members and help lift up the country through prayer and fellowship at the event.

Things are set to get underway at the Vara Faye Daniel Pavilion, where local community leaders are expected to welcome attendees and introduce several area church leaders and elected officials before beginning the march around town.

There will be stops where local pastors will offer a word of prayer at the Liberty City Hall, Liberty County Courthouse, Liberty First United Methodist Church, First Baptist, and the Immaculate Conception Church.

The event is not a political event, and organizers ask that attendees refrain from wearing any political attire.
