Officials with the Grand Parkway project, as well as local and stated elected officials were on hand in Dayton to celebrate the opening of the final stretch of the project Wednesday, May 18.
This segment that reaches from HWY 59 in New Caney all the way to HWY 146 in Baytown represents 52.8 miles of the 184-mile loop around the greater Houston area. Travelers may can drive for free on the Grand Parkway until the tolls begin at midnight on Saturday, May 21.
