The Liberty Athletic Booster Club is excited to have the chance to honor some of the great former athletes from Liberty High School on their new Wall of Fame at the high school. Liberty has had many storied athletes who have played some very impressive careers both collegiately and professionally.

“This was a project brought up by LHS Principal/Assistant Athletic Director Karen Slack, who received several photos immediately after her post several months ago. The Liberty Athletic Booster Club is now spearheading this effort and would like to honor our alumni who have played in college and also professionally. On display will be alumni from all different sports,” Liberty Athletic Booster Club VP Bruce George said.

From former football stars like Reggie White and Anthony Chambers to former female athletic standouts like Elisha Moore Lemelle, Hannah Hill, and Augusta Davis Costlow, the booster club wants to pay respect to the great athletes that have come from the ranks of Liberty Panthers athletics.

“In addition to bringing back great memories, we believe this exhibit will continue to encourage and motivate our student-athletes who have aspirations of playing collegiately and professionally. We have a rich athletic history with many stories to tell. This is why we are asking all Liberty High School alumni who played a sport in college and professionally to participate,” said George.

The booster club is asking for submissions of past athletes that went on to accel after leaving Liberty. They are asking for photos and bios for the former athletes to be sent to libertytxathleticboosterclub@gmail.com and that you include the full name and graduation year of the former standout Liberty athlete. Photos can be can either an action shot, collegiate photo, or your professional photo.
