Cleveland Livestock Show gets underway this weekend

CLEVELAND – It’s rodeo time as the 2023 Cleveland Livestock Show and Rodeo returns this weekend with lots of exciting rodeo action.

The big event kicks off tonight with Family Night Rodeo and provides plenty of fun for everyone. Entries begin at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6:30 p.m.

Family Night will undoubtedly be very entertaining with Mutton Bustin’, Open Dummy Roping, and Stick Horse Barrel Racing.

There will be loads more rodeo action on Friday and Saturday, with showtimes kicking off at 7:30 p.m.

Then there is the big Stars, Stripes, & Fair Delights parade on Saturday at 3 p. m., led by Grand Marshal 2022 Miss Rodeo Cleveland Grace Williams.

Every night during the rodeo, there will be Mutton Bustin’ for kids ages seven and under. On Friday and Saturday, there will be Steer Saddling and Junior Barrels.

2023 Miss Rodeo CLS candidates Reva Mosley and Hana Lindsey, both Juniors at Tarkington High School, will be at the CLS Rodeo on Friday and Saturday. Crowing for the 2023 Miss Rodeo CLS will take place on Saturday.

CLS Show Week kicks off Monday, April 10, and gates will be open to the public Monday- Friday during show week from 6 a.m. - 11 p.m.
