LHS students make All-Region Choir

Several Liberty High School Choir students recently competed at the TMEA Region 10 All-Region Choir auditions, and 15 of them were selected to perform in the All-Region Choir.

They are Michael Abel, Brooke Burgess Dagle, Zandrea Carter, John Cisneros, Nailah Donatto, Temidayo Esho, Dominique Harris, Victor Marquez, Lauryn Mitchell, Jocelyn Nelson, Jaci Presnull, Gerald Redmon, Faith Singh, Katelyn Singh and Abigail Turner.

These students will be performing in a concert at the Julie Rogers Theater in Beaumont on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.. 

Six of these same students also were selected to advance to the Pre-Area auditions, which will be held in December. They are Zandrea Carter, Temidayo Esho, Victor Marquez, Jaci Presnull, Gerald Redmon and Faith Singh.

This will be the third out of four auditions in this series to be selected for the TMEA Texas All-State Choir. The LHS Choir students are under the direction of head director Christie Bean and assistant directors Faith Hortman and Mark Patterson.
