Liberty Municipal Golf Course opening Friday

LIBERTY – There is a lot of buzz going around as the long- awaited completion of the Liberty Municipal Golf Course renovations is finally completed.
This weekend local golfers will have an opportunity to hit the links again right here at home, as the grand opening takes place this Friday, May 5, at 11 am. City officials will be on hand to take the opening day swing off the tee.
The day will start at 9 am with course tours available for anyone in the community who would like to check out the gorgeous facility. After the opening ceremony, there will be refreshments for those in attendance, and the course will officially open at 1 pm.
There has been a soft opening over the past couple of weeks, with folks giving a thumbs up to the course.
