    Christine LaVerne Dunagan, 1967-2019

Christine LaVerne Dunagan, a 17 year resident of Denver, Colorado, went to be with Our Lord on Aug.30, at 9 a.m., at the age of 51.

Christine is survived by her parents, Craig and Rosalind Dunagan; her brother, Tom Dunagan; nephew, Andrew Dunagan; niece, Elizabeth Bell; nephew, Dakota Dunagan; her sister, Beth Smiley, brother-in-law, Greg Smiley; niece, Hanna Smiley; and nephew, Will Smiley. She is pre-deceased by her grandparents, William and LaVerne Wakefield; Thomas and Eloise Dunagan.

Christine was born in Baytown, Oct. 27, 1967 and raised in the small town of Liberty. She graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a bachelor of science in communication and marketing.  At the time of her death Christine was a project manager for Coresecure. Quoting her dear friend Sherri, “she basically worked with people who had no idea what they want or how to get it, and translated it into a solid web development plan. Then she rallied developers and made it so. She could build teams that would follow her anywhere. She was that amazing!”

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6, at Three Trees Chapel, 13416 W. Arbor Place, Littleton, CO 80127. Afterwards a celebration of her life will take place at her home, 1804 S Pontiac Way; Denver, CO 80224.

Christine was a devoted daughter, sister, friend and mother to her dogs, Kita and Doja.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
