Clyde Raymond Holland, 1937-2019

Clyde Raymond Holland, 81, of Hull, Texas passed away on June 11, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Oct. 13, 1937 in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Clyde was a devoted husband and loving father to four children. After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he served for many faithful years. Upon leaving the Air Force, he worked as a Truck Driver and Safety Engineer. He was a Mason and a Shriner. Clyde was a true outdoors man. He loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed watching the Houston Texans and the Astros. He also liked model aircraft. Clyde was a good man and a great father.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Richard Dean Holland. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 62 years, Betty Holland; daughter, Terry Holland; sons, Jerry Lee Holland, Kenneth Ray Holland and wife Sandra; sister, Janelle Stanley and husband Don; grandsons, Joshua and Nathan Holland; granddaughters, Jessica and Cara Holland, and Britney Phillips. In addition he leaves behind numerous other loving family members and friends.
