Conception Mendoza, 49 of Dayton, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Edinburg, Texas. Conception was born on December 8, 1971 in Queretaro, Mexico to parents Leopoldo Mendoza and Maria Del Carmen Mendoza.
Conception owned and operated Mendoza’s Concrete in Dayton. He was always working and took great pride in providing for his family. He was a wonderful provider and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Conception loved working on cars especially his blue truck. He loved watching soccer especially his favorite team America . He was a wonderful person with a big heart and he will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Conception was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Antonio Rubio; paternal grandmother Juana Mendoza Suarez; paternal grandfather Guillermo Suarez. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents Leopoldo and Maria Del Carmen Mendoza; his wife and best friend of thirty-two years Maria Inez Mendoza; son Angel Javier Mendoza, daughter Angie Mendoza; daughter; Christina Whatley; brother Jose Mendoza and wife Mari; brother Jaime Mendoza; brother Jorge Mendoza and wife Karina; sister Sandra Garcia and husband Sandro; sister Maritza Rodriguez and husband Eduardo; sister Juana Hernandez and husband Hipolito; sister Griselda Watts and husband Joshua Watts; sister Edith Gonzalez and husband Jose. In addition, he leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 4-8 PM on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in the chapel at Allison Funeral Service. Rosary will begin at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held, Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Liberty. Burial and committal will immediately follow at Liberty Catholic Cemetery.
