Diane Marie (Stovall) Boothe, 1945-2022

Diane Marie (Stovall) Boothe passed away to her eternal home in Heaven on February 6, 2022, at the age of 76 at HCA Hospital in Conroe, Texas. Born July 2, 1945, to Jack O. Stovall and Lucille (Duff) Clay in Houston, Texas and raised in Liberty, Texas.

Diane is preceded in death by her father Jack O. Stovall; mother and step-father Lucille (Duff) and James D. Clay; daughter Stephanie E. Boothe; brother Jack Stovall; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Douglas and Eileen Boothe.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Robert Wade Boothe; daughter Tracy Mayo and husband Ron; daughter Randi Johnson and husband Joe; grandchildren Kristina Sewell, Taylor Mayo, Reagan Mayo, Riley Mayo, Hailey Johnson, Gracie Johnson, and Kadee Johnson.

Diane was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1963. She moved to Houston, Texas and began a career in banking, working for Longpoint National Bank, MBank, and Bank One. Upon retirement, she returned to Liberty County as a resident of Dayton. She was a member of North Main Baptist Church/Dogwood Baptist Church in Liberty, Texas.

Diane loved her family, her friends, and especially loved being surrounded by her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Special thanks to the ICU staff at St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital in Livingston, Texas, Livingston EMS, HCA Life Flight team, and HCA Emergency Room staff in Conroe, Texas.
