Russell Hernandez

Russell Hernandez, 61, of Dayton passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. He was born on October 5, 1961.

Russell worked many years as a boilermaker, then later in life as a pipefitter. He is survived by his daughter Billie Jo Hill and her children Sydnie and Mackenzie Hill, daughter Steph Hernandez and husband Jacob DeBardelaben and children Zaiden and Arya, son Russell Cook and wife Cassi Wells and his children Bentley, Tristin, Kylee, and Paisley Cook, Sisters Paula Hernandez and Reva Scruggs and brother Denis Hernandez- Penrod.

He is preceded in death by his parents Percy and Alvera Hernandez, sisters Lydia Louise (Bobby) Hernandez and Sherly Dean Hernandez, and grandnephew Tristin Scruggs.

Honoring the family by servings as pallbearers will be Russell Cook, Bruce Whitby, and Mike Scruggs.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 4, 2023, at 4 pm at the Trinity Baptist Church. The family asks all that come to celebrate the life of Mr. Russell Hernandez wear overalls, jeans, or the color red.
