CANDIDATE ANNOUNCEMENT

  • Article Image Alt Text

My name is Bill Griffin and I am asking for your vote for Liberty County Constable Precinct 1. I am a lifelong resident of Liberty, TX where I graduated from Liberty High School and then continued my education at Sam Houston State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. I hold a master peace officer license and a basic emergency medical technician certification.

For over 26 years, law enforcement has been my passion. I began my career in law enforcement in 1993 at the City of Liberty Police Department where I served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Detective Sergeant and Chief of Police. I also served as the Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Liberty. After leaving Liberty I continued my career by serving the City of Dayton Police Department where I achieved the rank of Corporal in Patrol and the City of Mont Belvieu as a Patrol Officer and currently as a Reserve Police Officer.

Liberty County is my home and the concerns of its citizens are my upmost priority. My goal is to be accountable to the citizens of the community by performing the duties of the Constables office in a professional manner and with integrity. I love my community and would be honored to be considered to serve as your next Precinct 1 Constable.

Please feel free to contact me with your questions, concerns, or just to get to know a little more about me at griffinforconstable1@ gmail.com. I look forward to talking with you!
