CISD Student Richard Villegas takes the GOLD!

Richard competed in the Restaurant Service category for SkillsUSA the week prior to the big freeze. This contest tested over restaurant safety, proper wait-staff procedures, and the elements of SkillsUSA. Richard won the GOLD award for this category and will move on to State. This is Richard’s second year competing in this category. He won the Gold in district last year as well, but due to Covid, Rich-and was unable to compete in State where many believe he would have progressed to Nationals.
