Wesley DCamp, Nailah Donatto, Ivan Martinez, and Katelyn Singh, members of the Liberty High School Choir, recently performed with the Texas All-State Small School Mixed Choir in San Antonio, earlier in February at the Henry B. González Convention Center as part of the 2022 Texas Music Educators Association Clinic/Convention.

DCamp, Donatto, Martinez, and Singh were chosen for this prestigious honor through a competitive process held this year across the state at District, Region, and Area levels. These students sing at school under the direction of Christie Bean. This is Nailah Donatto’s second time to qualify as a member of a TMEA All-State organization and DCamp, Martinez, and Singh’s first time.

All-State is the highest honor a Texas music student can receive. Only the top 2.6% of musicians who initially audition become All-State musicians.
