Pruitt named Cottonwood Principal

Cleveland ISD has named Maritza Pruitt as the new Principal at Cottonwood Elementary School.
Pruitt is a graduate of the University of Texas, Pan American University and The University of Houston Clear Lake. She has 17 years of educational experience, spending eleven of them in an administrative capacity.
Pruitt started her career in education as a Bilingual instructor with Goose Creek CISD, before joining Dayton ISD 2010. Pruitt worked as an Assistant Principal and eventually Principal at Dayton until 2015.
Pruitt has been working most recently as the District 504 and Dyslexia Coordinator with Dayton.
Cleveland ISD is excited to welcome Pruitt to Cottowood.
