Anderson-Shiro too much for Liberty

ANDERSON - The Liberty Lady Panthers took the long Tuesday night bus to Anderson- Shiro and ran into a tough Lady Owls volleyball team who defeated Liberty 25-8, 25-16, and 25-21.

The Lady Panthers did not fare too well in game one and made some improvements in game two before losing 25-16.

Game three was the best of the night for Liberty as they dropped it 25-21. Madyson Goudeau finished with 8 kills and 17 digs.

Katrina Tran added 12 assists, 4 kills, and 5 digs, while teammate Breezy Pantalion had 14 digs and 4 kills.

Reese Evans chipped in with 12 digs and served up an ace.

The Lady Panthers then traveled to Dayton on Friday afternoon and beat the Lady Broncos in three games to improve their season record to 15-10.

Liberty will open district play on September 20 at home against Splendora.
