Bronco powerlifting teams take firsts at Liberty meet

Dayton’s boys and girls powerlifting teams lifted in their second meet of the season at Liberty yesterday.

Overall the boys took home first place as a team.  Fourteen out of 15 lifters placed first, second or third.

  • Lucas Tanton — second place
  • Gavin Bennett — first place
  • Josiah Griffith — first place
  • Ty Pafford — first place
  • Tim Sjolander — first place
  • Hunter Beamesderfer — second place
  • Colby Bueltmann — third place
  • Brennan Chauvin — second place
  • Avyn Craig — second place
  • Kameron George — first place
  • Fernando Ortiz — third place
  • Demetris Whittington — third place

Overall the girls took home first place as a team.  Six out of nine lifters placed first, second or third.

Both teams will lift in the Dayton meet this Thursday, Feb. 6, at Dayton High School.
