There is a saying that sometimes there is not much you can write home about; this is one of those times, turnovers, dropped passes, giving up big plays, and a letdown on special teams. When those things happen, the results for one team aren’t going to turn out well. This is where the Broncos found themselves on Friday night. The Broncos gave the ball away five times on turnovers and had a punt run back on them to end the first half with the Cougars up 49-0 over the Broncos.

Coming out in the second half with 9:52 on the clock of the third quarter is when the Dayton Broncos got on the scoreboard, Aston Garner scored a touchdown, PAT was good, bringing the score to Cougars 49-7. The Cougars kicked a field goal to make the score 52-7. The Broncos did score again at the start of the fourth quarter and one more time at the end of the fourth quarter bringing the score to its final Crosby Cougars-52 and Dayton Broncos-21.

The Broncos will be at home this Friday night to take on the Port Neches-Groves Indians with kick-off at 7:30 p.m.
