Dayton Lady Broncos vs Huntsville Lady Hornets

When: Thursday and Friday at 6:30 pm, game three if necessary, Saturday at 11 am

Where: Grand Oaks High School in Conroe

Records: Dayton 17-11; Huntsville 27-11

Last Week: Dayton 8, McKinney North 0; Game 1: Huntsville 7, Lovejoy 0; Game 2: Huntsville 2, Lovejoy 1

Season Series: March 31: Huntsville 8, Dayton 6; April 18: Dayton 8, Huntsville 1

Preview: Both teams split their games with each other as each won at their home field. Dayton is playing their best softball of the season and pitcher Madi Alvarado pitched a shutout last week against McKinney North.

Liberty Lady Panthers vs Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears

When: Thursday at 6:30 pm, Friday at 5 pm and game three, if necessary, 30 minutes after the completion of game 2.

Where: Thursday at Cleveland High School, Friday at Bridge City High School

Records: Liberty 30- 7; Little Cypress- Mauriceville 29-7

Last Week: Game 1: Liberty 13, Gilmer 1, Game 2: Liberty 12, Gilmer 0; Game 1: LC-M 18, Carthage 4; Game 2: LC-M 11, Carthage 1

Season Match-up: Feb. 13: Liberty 10, LC-M 0

Preview: Both teams had reasonably easy series against Gilmer and Carthage last week, respectively. Both teams played early in the season and the Lady Panthers blanked the Lady Bears 10-0 in six innings. Brookelyn Taylor allowed just two hits in two games against Gilmer last week.
