HARDIN - The Lady Hornets needed only 49 minutes to runrule Warren last Tuesday evening at home 15-0 in district action.

Reese Parker allowed just one hit over three innings of work and added a pair of hits and four RBIs at the plate. Taylor Knight also drove in four with a couple of hits.

The Lady Warriors starting pitcher had a rough opening inning as she allowed Hardin to take a 10-0 lead.

Maddy Fregia walked, and then Kaitlyn Key singled to put a couple of runners on. Parker then delivered a sacrifice fly to center field, and the Lady Hornets led 1-0. Knight then singled to score Key, Kenadi Frauenberger singled, and Emma Smart reached on an error. Chloe Sellers, Callie Scheffler, and Kylie Templeton all had RBIs without having to swing their bat via on hit-by-pitches. Fregia then had an RBI single and two hitters later, it was Parker hitting one to the center field wall to score two more and Hardin led 9-0. Frauenberger made it 10-0 with a single.

The Lady Hornets scored five more in the second.

Parker had an RBI single and then Knight cleared the bases with a three-run double to make it 14-0. Sellers then drove in her second run of the game after being hit by a pitch and the score was 15-0.

Parker easily set down Warren in the third inning and the game was over.

Fregia, Frauenberger, and Key all had two hits each.

Hardin will host Anahuac on Friday evening.
