Lady Panthers beat Livingston

The Lady Panthers have begun the second round of District play and have only four games left of the regular season. Tuesday, night ended with a sweep by all three teams vs. Livingston. 

Our Freshman Volleyball team coached by Hannah Comeaux, is undefeated in district (5-0). Varsity is presently 3-3 seated in the fourth place spot.

Varsity’s Tuesday night scores: 27-29, 25-21, 19-25, 25-21 and 17-15.

Stat leaders from Tuesday night:

  • Robin Lemelle (Sr.) — 27 kills, 13/13 serving, 16 digs
  • Abbie Knepper (Jr.) — 18 kills, 5 digs
  • Abby Phillips (Sr.) — 10 kills, 6/8 serving, 88% serve receive, 16 digs
  • Kamryn Turner (Jr.) — 6 kills (24/25 attacking-only one error), 6 digs
  • Tori Garcia (Jr.) — 6 kills (10/10 attacking), 9/11 serving, 5 digs
  • Emalee Villarreal (So.) — 83% serve receive, 8/8 serving, 19 digs
  • Kennedy Evans (Jr.) — 15/16 serving, 22 digs
  • Katrina Tran (Fr.) — 12/13 serving, 60 assists (setter)

Huffman comes to Liberty Friday night; varsity will begin at 4:30 p.m.
