Softball Recap

LIBERTY LADY PANTHERS The Lady Panthers scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to run-rule the Huffman Lady Falcons 12-2 at home on Thursday night to push their winning streak to 26 straight games. Hollie Thomas homered twice and had three RBIs, and Bayleigh Taylor went yard again and had three more hits. Bailee Slack had three hits with one triple, and Breezy Pantalion finished with two hits. Brookelyn Taylor struck out 11 in getting the win on the mound.

DAYTON LADY BRONCOS Dayton dropped their second straight district game on Thursday night, 3-0 to Huntsville. Madi Alvarado pitched well and allowed only two earned runs. Mika Anthony-Conner finished with two hits and Ariana Zuniga had a double.

HARDIN LADY HORNETS The Lady Hornets were shut out at home on Thursday night 12-0 to Kountze. Olivia Dryden struck out one in getting the loss for Hardin on the mound. Emma Smart had the only hit for the Lady Hornets.

TARKINGTON LADY HORNS The Lady Horns fell behind early and could not recover in dropping their district game to Coldspring 10-5. Oakley Blackburn led the offense with two RBIs and a hit, while Maddi Dominy struck out two in getting the loss on the mound.
