BOYS BASKETBALL:

DAYTON- The Dayton Broncos dropped the last game of the season to Lake Creek 80-54. Dayton was trailing 44-28 at the half before using a 16-11 third quarter to close within 55-44 heading into the fourth quarter. Lake Creek then outscored the Broncos 25-10 for the win. Dayton finishes its season at 17-15 for the season.

CLEVELAND- The Indians are heading to the playoffs and closed out the regular season last Tuesday night with a 56-35 win over Porter. In next week’s paper, we will have a complete story of Cleveland’s playoff game with A&M Consolidated.

HARDIN- The Hardin Hornets had a close game with Onalaska last Tuesday night before falling 63-60 to the Wildcats to finish off the season for both teams.

HULL-DAISETTA- The Bobcats dropped the season’s final game last Tuesday to Deweyville 59-40. The season has come to an end for Hull-Daisetta, while Deweyville clinched the last playoff spot in district.

GIRLS SOCCER:

DAYTON- The Dayton Lady Broncos dominated the field on Tuesday night in a 2-0 win over New Caney. Alondra Sanchez scored both goals for Dayton and finished as the Girl of the Game.
