TARKINGTON’S EDWARDS HEADED TO STATE MEET

Tarkington High School senior Gavin Edwards won first place in discus and second place in shot put at the 2022 Class 3A Regional Track and Field meet over the weekend. Edwards now advances to Texas UIL State Track and Field Meet in Austin at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas. Class 3A field events will begin at 9 am on Thursday, May 12. Joining Edwards at the Regional Meet were Riley Johnson and Tanner Johnson.
