West heading south to Pan Am Softball Championship

Liberty’s Kaci West and the rest of the 2019 USA Softball U-17 Women’s National Team will compete at the U-17 Women’s Pan American Softball Championship, Oct. 11-19, in Barranquilla, Colombia. There they will try for a berth to the 2020 U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup.

The 2019 U-17 Women’s National Team is made up of Jessie Blaine of Quantico High School in Wentzville, Missouri; Riley Blampied of Crisp County High School in Cordele, Georgia; Dani Drogemuller of Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, Illinois; Jocelyn Erickson of O’Connor High School in Phoenix, Arizona; Maddie Gallagher of Paul D. Schreiber High School in Port Washington, New York; Claire Ginder of Newsome High School in Lithia, Florida; Casey Goguts of Dwyer High School in Reading, Pennsylvania; Madison Harris of Brookville High School in Forest, Virginia; Avery Hodge of Tompkins High School in Fulshear, Texas; Rachael Jones of Mount Anthony High School in Bennington, Vermont; Caitlynn Neal of Bradshaw Mountain High School in Dewey, Arizona; Haidyn Sokoloski of Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas; Tieley Vaughn of Wharton High School in Winter Park, Florida; Hallie Wacaser of Bentonville West High School in Centerton, Arkansas; and Kaci West of Liberty High School in Liberty, Texas.

They are coached by Head Coach Kyla Holas from Pasadena, Texas, Assistant Coach Becky Snow of Albany, New York, and Assistant Coach Ernie Yarbrough of Owasso, Oklahoma.
