RING AROUND THE COLLAR

I started to put on a white dress shirt, which I had already worn briefly, and noticed the inside of the collar looked dirty. I showed it to my wife and began to complain that the cleaning service had not done a very good job. She looked at it and replied, “Are you sure you’re doing a good job of washing your neck?”

It is always easier to play the blame game, than take responsibility for our own actions. Psalm 139: 23-23 reminds us, “Search me, O God, and know me. Try me and see if there is any wicked way in me.” Have you checked the inside of your collar lately?
