The Anchor
I was telling one of my best friends, Lonnie, that I lost my boat anchor while out fishing. Lonnie told me, “I bought an anchor when I was sixteen. I’m over 85 years old now. I don’t have a boat anymore, but I still have my anchor!”
Perhaps you gave your heart to Christ some time ago. Are you still anchored to Him? Many things may have changed in your life, but remember what God’s word says, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure… Jesus.” (Hebrews 6:19-20)
